Meditation is a wonderful tool for physical, mental and emotional relaxation. It improves concentration and memory, enhances self-understanding and spiritual development and helps our ability to handle stress.

Adults and teens:
Sessions begin and end with meditation and include background material as well an opportunity for discussion of practical applications of Buddhist teachings. Sessions will evolve and be balanced to meet the needs to the group. Beginners to both meditation and Buddhism are welcome.

Children age 5 and up:
Children begin to learn simple meditation techniques to help handle stress and enhance concentration. Parents may attend with their child(ren) so that the family can practice these simple meditation techniques together.

Sessions meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday, and are facilitated by Rev. Kathy Schmitz, Interim Pastor for Pathways Unitarian Universalist Church, and Julie Lambert, Director of Religious Education.

You are welcome to join us at 6:30 for a brown bag supper beforehand.
