Well like most of you I have been in survival mode for over a year now. Last Year my pay was cut by a third and I was on commission. After cutting my pay my company put me on a smaller salary thus preventing me from making more. It has been a struggle to say the least. On June 11th my boss phoned me at 9:00 and informed I was laid of immediately and my medical insurance would be canceled at the end of the month. You must be saying to yourself at this point why do I need to hear his problems when I am in survival mode myself.
I believe life is 10% what happens to you and 90% of how you react. I have been in the same business for over 33 years, I know alot about the in's and out's of my business. My friend Johnny is a web master that is not driven by money was so kind to build me a website for a few dollars to present my new business. I am now brokering rigging, which means now I work for the customer and beat up the rigging lofts to get the best price, thus saving my customer money. The rigging house is glad because I add a few dollars to each item and when the rigging house gets paid they pay me the difference that they billed the customer.
Thus the rigging house is happy I cost them nothing up front, they don't pay me until they get paid, so it is a win for everyone.
If you like people, would like to save people money and make money with them not on them, could say the words. "Can you give me a chance to quote? Have a good personality and a sweet smile I will pay you 40% of the commission earned. I furnish you all the leeds you want, work one day, three days does not matter you are this time truly in charge of your own destiny.
