Hello Meditative Walkers,

Andrew, Erika and I are very happy that you could join us with our Meditative Walk this coming Sunday. Please read below carefully to be prepared for the event. So far, about 120 people have responded either Yes or Maybe (90 Yes 30 Maybe).

** I assumed that we were going to visit the monastery, but found out that this will not be the case. This event does not include the tour of the monastery (closed.) I apologize if this causes a disappointment. However, since our main purpose was a walking meditation, I?m certain that we will have a good time regardless. **

2:15 p.m. Depart Cook?s Corner for the Monastery

2: 45 p.m. Andrew will lead a Spiritual Meditative Walk for 2 miles.

Please read the following guidelines:

1. Wear long pants and proper walking shoes (closed shoes, tennis shoes or walking shoes) but NO SANDALS. (requested by the monks). Wear a hat if you are concerned about the sun.

2. Bring your own Lunch and Water. Because of the terrain, this is more like a hike/walk (2 miles), you might get thirsty.

3. There are only few picnic tables and chairs at Cook?s Corner, so please make sure to bring your own blanket or folding chairs.

4. Camera is allowed if you want to take pictures along the way.

5. The group must stay together because it is in the wilderness where there is wildlife.

6. No Children are allowed for this event.

7. There is a big lot for parking but there are no lines to mark division. We will need some coordination to drive in and out smoothly.

8. Please Car pool as much as possible with other participants.

Thank you, and see you Sunday!
