For those who can make it. A gathering to listen to Guruji, Dr. Yogeesh Acharya, speak on "Knowing The Self." A source of Eastern Spirituality. His lecture lasts about one hour, followed by Satsang and Indian food. *One of my own personal sources of spiritual understanding. All are welcome. **Carpool** Give me a call, 310-697-2121 if in the 310/562 area. I'm in Wilmington. A few of you were able to make it last time! I'm glad to have had the opportunity to finally meet some of you! About Dr. Acharya Yogeesh - taken from his website Dr. Acharya Yogeesh is both an experienced yogi and an experienced teacher. He has been entering deep Samadhi states since he was five years old, and has studied Oriental philosopy for twenty-seven years. Since 1986, he has travelled world-wide, teaching Eastern philosphy, yoga, and meditation, and promoting non-violence. Yogeesh Acharya has spent much time in philosophical and linguistic studies. Born in a Hindu Kshatriya family near Delhi, Dr. Yogeesh became a monk in 1970, at the age of fourteen. In addition to his Indian langauges (Sanskrit, Prakrit, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Gujrati and Bhojpuri), he is also fluent in English. He completed his Acharya and M.A. in Sanskrit and Philosophy. He has his Ph.D. in "the six substances of Jainism." His approach to teaching is: "If you can change one person, you can change the whole nation." A discussion and introduction to Reiki, what its about, sharing experiences, and treating each other. To provide the opportunity for reiki practitioners to help others with knowledge and understanding from their own experiences. To answer questions to those who are unfamiliar with the hands-on healing technique as well as show us different techniques and style. Would appreciate experienced Reiki practitioners. I'm very new to it. ;-) My living room is small, I can host maybe up to 10 people. *Date and Time is subject to change. (It'd make sense to provide the opportunity when most people can make it, let me know!)

Meditation Night opportunity for those in the "Heart of Los Angeles" area, hosted at Christina's home, one of our members! I know most of you are from the Santa Monica, Venice, Hollywood area. Fortunately, member Christina, has offered her home to us, to give us all a chance to get together and meditate. If you are unable to make Monday's meetup due to travelling, I'd like you to consider meeting up on Tuesday! To keep her address private, only those who reserve will receive the address a few days prior to the meetup. Thanks Christina!

First Meditation Night for those who are interested. Please email me ahead of time. I only have room for maybe 10 in my home. If the turn-out is good, I won't mind hosting several meditation nights a week. After meditation, we will have tea and cookies. The Above Date and Time are subject to change. There will be no surprises though. :o) Thanks, Tammy

An hour or so to get to know one another before our upcoming meetup nights. If weather permits, I thought it might be a good idea to have an introduction meetup. Where we can get to know a little bit about each other, so that when it comes to our meetups, either meditation, spirituality, or healing nights, we will be comfortable. For those of you who know the Torrance area, it is in the Rolling Hills Plaza in front of AMC Rolling Hills 20. Please let me know if you will be coming. I know sometimes there are last minute changes. If so, give me a heads up, 310-697-2121 / tammyherbster@hotmai l.com Hope to see you there! Tammy *Subject to Cancellation and/or Time Change. - There will be no surprises though. :o)
