Friday Balance and Harmony Meditations

The basis of Origin Meditation is to obtain harmony by achieving stillness. Our practice includes stretching and Qi Gong exercises, stillness emphasized meditation, vibrational toning and positive interaction.

Our group focus is to cultivate presence. We share and learn from each other by focusing with a common intent set by the group dynamic. The group dynamic as a spiritual family or Sangha is an integral part of our meditation practice. The individual light of our being brightens each others' and intensifies the group's presence. As such these qualities echo in our personal lives and through our collective energies, ultimately raising consciousness and promoting higher awareness.

We are always open to new people, practices, and talent. If you have something to contribute such as a specific practice or instrument, please bring them with you to contribute.

The meditation starts at 8:00pm. If you're running late it's okay to come in anytime between 6:00 and 8:45pm. Please just come in and sit quietly. Our meditation room is the first door up the stairs to the left. Sitting cushions are provided. The meetup typically ends at 10:00pm.

We are starting a 1 1/2 hour meditation starting at 6pm prior to the 8pm meditation class. Push your limits and join us. 1 to 2 hours is the average time period for a proper meditation practice. This program is based on feedback; while having limited guidance, it is perfect for developing the essential relationship with the body, mind, and spirit.

This meetup is free! Though we do ask if you are able to please donate funds of $5 or so to help pay for the room and to maintain this meetup group.
